LOCATION
Fayetteville is a small town on Route 19 in West Virginia and is the heart of east coast whitewater rafting.
LODGING
All the staff and most of the teams stay at the Quality Inn in Fayetteville. The have cut us a deal at $55 per night, per room. Other hotels are available but can be further away and/or more expensive. Camping is available at Class VI for a small fee for those that choose that option.
MEALS
Meals are on your own. Class VI will have on site a high carb meal available on Thursday night for a small fee. There are several restaurants in the area to meet your needs after each day's events if you so choose.The Wilderness Challenge will provide a meal after the award ceremony on Saturday night. It's an all you can eat pig pickin', complete with dessert and beer. There is NO charge for this meal. Know that during the days events, you will be deep into the mountains. You are required to carry with you all the food and water you will need for that day in the "Team Bag" (provided). Many stores, both for food and supplies, are available in the area. You will have an opportunity to visit them the night before each event day.
